The lie, and then the long stretch where everybody would rather believe it. A French man in his twenties convinces a Texas family he is their missing teenage son, Armstrong looks down a camera and denies everything for a decade, and a wine dealer counterfeits bottles nobody alive can taste for. The interesting part is never the con, it is the wanting to be conned.
