A making-of is usually a press kit at feature length. These are the ones that got in far enough to find the trouble: the year Blade Runner nearly came apart, the three days Hitchcock spent on forty-five seconds of shower, twenty-somethings in a warehouse inventing the equipment as they went because none of it existed yet. He Dreams of Giants is the sad one, Gilliam still chasing Quixote thirty years on.
